It’s a fun, free public art project with original poetry on display under the beautiful lights in the City Park. Our goal is to celebrate a love of language that inspires and promotes poets of all ages, while also providing outdoor public art that encourages people to get outside and make the most of winter in Minnesota.

Participants can pick up their “Find Polar Pete” stamp card which contains the names of all participating businesses where Polar Pete can be found to get their card stamped or signed. Cards that have collected all of the business stamps or signatures can be entered into our prize drawing to win Chamber Bucks.

Students will get sponsors to donate money towards board breaking which we then split to donate to the local food shelf and our Jose Muzquiz Scholarship Fund. We have had a blast the last few years and donated over a thousand dollars each year to the Becker County Food Pantry. This event is everyone’s FAVORITE EVENT! Please come support us!
