Event Description: Join your library for presentations with author, photographer and adventurer Lee Hoedl! At 11 AM we'll explore his children's book Johnny Avalanche and the Trek to Everest Base Camp, and his real life journey that inspired it, in an all-ages presentation geared for grades 3-8. At 3 PM, we welcome him back for a presentation geared for an older audience as Hoedl regales us with stories from his Trek. Hoedl will share videos, photos, and stories about his experience, including some of the customs and traditions of the people he met along the way. From Kathmandu to Lukla, we're in for a journey as Hoedl takes us along the historic trail every climber of Everest has undertaken leading to the legendary Everest Base Camp.
